How do I download apps on an iPhone?

You can download the platform app to your iPhone in two ways: scan the official QR code to download, or follow the illustrated steps below to download the ME Pass App from the App Store:

I. Steps to Download the Official App on iPhone

1. Enter the App Store.

2. Tap your profile icon to go to the Apple ID account page.

3. Tap your profile and find the Country setting.

4. Your selected country.

If you do not have an Apple ID, you can register an Apple ID by following Section II below (registration must comply with Apple’s Terms of Service).

II. Register a New Apple ID

1. Visit Apple’s official website:https://appleid.apple.com/account

2. Tap your personal account icon to go to your Apple ID account page.

3. Your selected country/region.

4. Enter your email address and a mobile number that can receive verification codes.

5. After entering the verification codes received via email and phone, you will have successfully registered an Apple ID.

III. Search for and Download ME Pass in the App Store

1. Open the App Store.

2. Tap your profile avatar to go to your Apple ID account page.

3. Go to Account Settings and find the Country option.

4. Confirm your country or region.

5. Search for “ME Pass” and complete the download.

The official iOS app developer is “Meta Earth Association.” Other developers have previously impersonated us. When downloading, please take care to avoid installing a fake app that could cause asset loss.

Friendly Reminders

● If you previously created a mnemonic phrase/private key wallet, please note the following when updating or uninstalling the App:

● Your mnemonic phrase/private key is the only proof of ownership of your assets. After the App is uninstalled, wallet data will be cleared.

● Be sure to back up your mnemonic phrase (12 words)/private key in advance and store it in a secure place (e.g., on paper or in a hardware wallet).

● Do not take screenshots or photos, and do not store it in cloud services, messaging apps, email, or other insecure locations.

Before uninstalling (recommended):

1. Confirm your mnemonic phrase has been correctly backed up.

2. Test restoring the wallet on a new device.

If the mnemonic phrase is lost, the assets cannot be recovered.

IV. Scan the Official Website’s Download QR Code to Install

Go to the official website (https://www.mec.me/home/en_US), tap the Download icon, and use your phone to scan the QR code that appears. We recommend using Google Chrome or your phone’s built-in browser to scan. Scanning with WeChat may result in the webpage stopping access.
