Based on market research feedback and suggestions from specific node communities, the Meta Earth Association is initiating a node-based governance vote on a proposal that outlines strategic reward mechanisms for the continued growth of the Meta Earth ecosystem. All eligible regional nodes are invited to participate in this official on-chain vote.
Voting Details:

2. Voting Period: April 13, 2025 (00:00:00 UTC+0) – April 15, 2025 (23:59:59 UTC+0)
3. Voting Method: Send any amount of MEC to the above address with a note indicating:
a) "AGREE" to support the proposal
b) "REJECT" to oppose the proposal
4. Voting Eligibility: Only registered regional nodes may vote
5. Approval Threshold: Proposal passes if more than 50% of participating nodes vote “AGREE”
Proposal Title:
Meta Earth 2025 Annual Node Rewards & User Incentive Policies
Full Proposal Content:
This proposal consists of four major components designed to sustain long-term community expansion and ecosystem activation.
1. Extension of the Node Operating Company Reward Policy:
A. Extend the existing reward framework approved on August 26, 2024, beyond its original expiry (April 16, 2025), through to April 30, 2027.
B. Rationale:
a) Sustains effective localized marketing, growth strategies, and offline activities.
b) Reinforces Meta Earth’s regional brand presence.
c) Provides stability for node operators and long-term contributors.
2. Optimization of User Check-In Reward Rules:
Policy Duration: May 1, 2025 – April 30, 2026
Participation Instructions:
Users access ME Pass → Dapp Center → Check-in App → Follow instructions.
Rules:
A. On-chain check-ins are recorded via a dedicated Rollup Chain.
B. All ME ID users are eligible (unverified users must complete KYC).
C. First check-in: Free GasFee + 0.0001 MEC reward.
D. Consecutive check-ins: Daily reward increases by 0.0001 MEC, capped at 30x.
E. Retroactive check-in: Missed days may be recovered (up to 7) at 0.01 MEC/day.
F. If no retroactive check-in: streak resets to base reward (0.0001 MEC).
G. From second check-in onward: 0.0001 MEC GasFee applies.
H. GasFee allocation:
a) 10% → Association
b) 70% → Global Treasury
c) 20% → Node Managers
I. Regional nodes receive 0.003 MEC per valid check-in.
J. All rewards are funded by regional node treasuries.
3. Monthly MEC Rewards for Verified Users:
Policy Duration: May 1, 2025 – April 30, 2026
Rules:
• All verified ME ID users receive 0.01 MEC/month.
• Reward pool capped at 1% of the node’s monthly treasury revenue.
• If the cap is exceeded, rewards are distributed evenly.
• Distribution timing: 1st–7th of the following month.
• Fund flow: Regional treasury → Governance reward pool → User wallets.
4. Node-Based User Acquisition Incentives:
Policy Duration: April 17, 2025 – April 30, 2026
Rules:
• Each KYC-verified invitee earns the referring node 0.1 MEC.
• Payout is processed the day after verification.
• Funded by regional node treasuries.
