To continuously drive the steady expansion of the Meta Earth ecosystem, reward long-term contributors to ecosystem construction, and further deepen community engagement, Meta Earth Association is officially launching a governance proposal to extend the validity of key provisions within the "Meta Earth 2025 Annual Node Rewards and User Incentive Policies."

This proposal aims to provide stable expectations for global nodes and users by continuing effective incentive mechanisms, collectively building a more resilient UBI ecosystem.

According to the "Meta Earth 2025 Annual Node Rewards and User Incentive Policies" approved via voting on April 15, 2025, several policies designed to activate the community and user base are scheduled to expire on April 30, 2026. Based on data feedback from the past year, these policies have played a pivotal role in driving user growth and community activity.

Core Request of This Proposal

To extend the following three policies, originally set to expire on April 30, 2026, for an additional 12 months, until April 30, 2027, at 23:59:59 (UTC+0).

1. Optimization of Daily User Check-in Rewards

• Content: Continue the existing daily check-in reward mechanism. Users checking in on-chain via ME Pass can earn progressive rewards, up to 0.003 MEC per day.

• Significance: Ensures continuous Daily Active Users (DAU) and enhances user awareness of modular public chain Rollup technology through low-barrier interactions.

2. Monthly 0.01 MEC Reward for Verified Users

• Content: All users who have completed ME ID Advanced Verification are eligible to claim 0.01 MEC monthly. Distribution rules and the cap (1% of the node's monthly income) remain unchanged.

• Significance: Practices the UBI (Unconditional Basic Income) concept, providing long-term, deterministic value returns to users who contribute to the ecosystem with a verified real identity.

3. Node-based User Referral Incentive Policy

• Content: For each new user who completes ME ID Advanced Verification, the referring node will receive a reward of 0.1 MEC, funded by the respective zone node treasury.

• Significance: Empowers regional nodes to continue localized promotion and incentivizes the large-scale viral growth of node communities.

2. Voting Period: April 25, 2026 (00:00:00 UTC+0) – April 26, 2026 (23:59:59 UTC+0)

3. Voting Method: Send any amount of MEC to the above address with a note indicating:

  a. "AGREE" to support the proposal

  b. "REJECT" to oppose the proposal

4. Voting Eligibility: All zone validation nodes operating on the ME Network mainnet (excluding the EXPERIENCE zone) are eligible to participate in the vote.

5. Approval Threshold: Proposal passes if more than 50% of participating nodes vote “AGREE”
