AnnouncementOn April 16, 2024, the Meta Earth Association officially approved Meta Earth Governance Proposal #MGP-000001, titled “Explorer Tour” Meta Earth V1.0 Public Testing Event.
In accordance with the approved proposal, the public testing period will span from April 17, 2024, to April 16, 2025. During this period, several incentive policies will be implemented to encourage early user participation, facilitate the association's efforts to gather market feedback, identify technical issues, and promote large-scale network adoption.
The key incentive policies are as follows:
1. Monthly Airdrop: All KYC-verified users will receive a monthly airdrop of 0.1 MEC, distributed between the 1st and the 7th of the month following their KYC verification.
2. Check-in Rewards: Users who check in for 25 days or more in a calendar month will receive a reward of 0.1 MEC. This reward will be distributed between the 1st and the 7th of the following month.
3. Gas Fee Refund: All gas fees incurred by KYC-verified users during the public testing period will be fully refunded to their ME wallet addresses within 30 days after the conclusion of the testing period.
4. Additional Node Rewards: Additional rewards will be provided to regional node managers to support the development of their nodes.
