On July 13, 2026, MetaEarth Devs, together with Teratomo, hosted META EARTH DEVCONNECT JAPAN under the theme "Intelligent Value: Scaling Web3 via AI Agents." The event was supported by strategic partners YURU COIN, MetaCarbon, Echobit, and Altlier, along with strategic media partners CHAIN CATCHER, CoinAnk, and ROOTDATA. Nearly 200 attendees gathered on-site, bringing a lively and engaged atmosphere.

At the event, Yuto Sakurai, representative of the Meta Earth Japan Developer Community, delivered a compelling keynote centered on MetaEarth Devs. He began by pointing out that Web3 has long failed to truly answer a fundamental question—"where do users come from?" Amid rampant fake addresses, a lack of genuine demand, weak incentives, and heavy infrastructure, developers have always been building alone in ecosystems without real users.
MetaEarth was created precisely to break this deadlock. As a modular blockchain ecosystem with a natively embedded, KYC-based DID, its underlying public chain, ME Network, has operated steadily for more than two years since its mainnet launch in April 2024, accumulating over 90 million on-chain transactions across more than 40 countries, with as many as 6.5 million real users (ME ID users) on-chain.

The key that underpins all of this is the unique Unconditional Basic Income (UBI) economic model embedded in the official wallet, ME Pass. Users simply download ME Pass and unlock their ME ID card to receive one permanently staked MEC for free, generating daily staking rewards that flow continuously into their accounts. ME ID further unlocks a range of benefits, including check-in rewards, referral rewards, monthly airdrops, on-chain community rewards, and ecosystem rewards. It is this very model that allows real users to accumulate and genuine on-chain demand to grow—providing developers with fertile ground that traditional Web3 ecosystems can hardly offer.
Building on this, Yuto went on to elaborate on the three core principles of MetaEarth Devs—Real³: Real Users, Real Efficiency, and Real Value. Here, developers no longer face cold, anonymous addresses, but real people. A modular public chain, an all-in-one SDK, and a built-in ME ID protocol free developers from reinventing the wheel, letting them focus solely on creation. Of the Gas Fees generated by developer-built RollApps, 40% is returned in real time, and coupled with the ever-turning UBI flywheel, every unit of value is genuinely returned to developers.

To bring these principles to life, MetaEarth has also established an ecosystem fund, providing developers with full-cycle support—from project launch to deployment—through Bug Bounty programs, the Grant program, hackathons, and cross-ecosystem resource matching. The first season's Bug Bounty features a total prize pool worth $300,000 in MEC, with individual rewards of up to $5,000 in MEC. The first phase of Season One has now concluded successfully, drawing more than 10,000 developers and users worldwide. The developer community grew by a net 2,181 members to surpass 2,197 in total, with 1,538 reports submitted in all and nearly 200 ultimately confirmed as valid and included in the reward tiers—an engagement level and set of results that far exceeded expectations.
In addition, the MetaEarth ecosystem Grant program is set to launch soon. The team will oversee the entire review, evaluation, and rating process, prioritizing support for high-value Web3 projects deploying or migrating into the ecosystem, thereby further accelerating the development of the Meta Earth ecosystem.

Standing on a foundation of two years of stable operation, MetaEarth's next step is to cultivate truly valuable applications on this soil of real users. We look forward to welcoming more developers into MetaEarth Devs—no longer troubled by "acquiring users from scratch," but instead focusing, before an audience of 6.6 million real users, on building genuinely needed ecosystem applications across AI, DeFi, SocialFi, GameFi, RWA, and beyond. Looking ahead, MetaEarth will continue to deepen its infrastructure, increase investment in ecosystem development, and connect a broader global network of developers—defining, together with every creator, a Web3 built on real value.
META EARTH DEVCONNECT JAPAN has come to a successful close. It marks both a face-to-face gathering and yet another new starting point on this shared path of co-creation. Everything is in place—all that's left is for you to Build.
