We are pleased to announce that, following multiple rounds of rigorous testing and preparation for the Meta Earth V2.0.16 upgrade, the Community Governance Committee formally initiated a vote on the upgrade proposal. The voting results have confirmed that the proposal has officially passed, and the upgrade will be released shortly.

Below are the details of the update and scheduled maintenance:

I. Meta Earth Beta Testnet Upgrade Schedule

II. Key Upgrade Details

Meta Earth Beta Testnet V2.0.16 Upgrade

1. New Features

Added support for linking ME ID accounts with their sub-account addresses. Pagination has also been added to the NFT query API, improving query efficiency and the overall user experience when handling large volumes of data.

2. Bug Fixes

Fixed existing known issues, including issues related to the EVM module, to ensure the proper operation of EVM smart contracts.

3. Security Enhancements

Strengthened parameter validation for the Meta Earth public blockchain APIs and introduced additional scenario-specific validation rules. For example, NFT minting quantities are now validated to prevent the total supply from being exceeded.

4. Rule Adjustments

Optimized certain underlying rules of the Meta Earth public blockchain and updated the EVM Chain ID to improve the standardization and compatibility of network configurations.

5. Performance Improvements

Refactored the staking reward calculation mechanism and optimized the BeginBlock reward accounting logic, improving both calculation accuracy and block-processing efficiency.
