On April 20, 2026, Meta Earth DevConnect took place as scheduled at Times Square in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. Developers, practitioners, and ecosystem builders from across the Web3 space arrived throughout the day, keeping the check-in area in constant motion and setting an energetic tone from the very start.
The event opened with keynote sessions from Meta Earth CTO Daniel and BD Head Vitor, who took the stage in turn to walk through Meta Earth's technical architecture, core philosophy, and ecosystem roadmap. From foundational design to long-term positioning, their talks offered guests a complete picture of where Meta Earth stands and where it is headed.
Following the keynotes, the event moved into a mid-session tea break. We had thoughtfully prepared a curated selection of pastries and specialty bites, and developers gathered in small groups to share tea and conversation. This brief pause became a natural space for ideas to cross paths and connections to take shape.
After the break, the event welcomed several industry leaders to the stage for a panel discussion titled "AI at the Next Phase: From Innovation to Adoption." Perspectives were exchanged openly and directly, moving from the practical challenges of bringing technology to market to the broader horizons of real-world application. The conversation built steadily, drawing applause throughout the room.
As the panel drew to a close, a lucky draw featuring a Mac Mini, a VibeCoding keyboard, and LLM token credits sent the energy soaring, with cheers and applause filling the room. The event ended with all guests gathering at the stage for a group photo, capturing this developer gathering as a shared memory worth keeping.

1. Looking Back: Two Years of Building
On April 17, 2024, the ME Network mainnet officially launched.
At the time, most people had never heard of Meta Earth. But we knew exactly what we were doing: not building another chain, but attempting to answer a question the entire industry had long avoided — what can blockchain actually do for real people.
Two years on, we have our answer.
ME Network has entered its 2.0+ era. We have decoupled the blockchain into an execution layer, settlement layer, data availability layer, and consensus layer, each evolving independently and scaling on demand, fundamentally breaking through the bottlenecks of monolithic chain architecture. This is not a slide deck diagram. It is infrastructure that has been running stably on mainnet for two full years.
At the same time, ME Pass, our official digital wallet, became the gateway for every user entering the Meta Earth world. Through ME Pass, users can claim their ME ID for free, activate UBI eligibility, and upon completing advanced verification, unlock a range of ecosystem rewards including check-in bonuses, referral rewards, monthly airdrops, and node incentives.
Today, ME ID users have surpassed 4 million. These are not registered accounts, airdrop hunters, or bot-generated figures. There are 4.2 million real people who exist in the real world, activating their on-chain rights with their own verified identities. Behind every ME ID is a real person. This is something we have held to from day one, and it is the most fundamental difference between us and most other projects in this industry.
2. We Have Covered a Lot of Ground
Over the past two years, we have not been standing still. In 2025, we took the stage at Token2049 twice in succession, first in Dubai, then in Singapore. We also appeared at blockchain weeks across multiple regions, consistently delivering the same message on the world's most important industry stages: UBI is not a gimmick, the modular chain is not just a concept, Meta Earth is an ecosystem that is actually running.
But we did more than speak on stages. We brought our values into the real world.
In 2025, we launched the Meta Earth UBI Global Tour in the Philippines. Our team traveled directly to disaster-affected areas, donating supplies to local communities. No spotlights, no press conferences — just our people, going where they were genuinely needed. We have always believed that the dividends of Meta Earth's ecosystem should reach the people who truly need it. That is not a slogan. It is a commitment we are willing to back with action.
3. After Infrastructure, Comes the Ecosystem
Two years in, we have completed the hardest part of the initial phase.

Every user a developer interacts with is real, active, and has genuine needs.
Our users also have genuine intent to engage. Every user who activates a ME ID continuously earns through the UBI mechanism. As on-chain products mature and use cases expand, users will have more and more reasons to stay. Real users bring real purchasing power, and real purchasing power creates real market demand.
Our users are also continuing to grow. UBI is our most powerful user acquisition engine, because it delivers real value to everyone who joins. The larger the user base, the more active the ecosystem, and the greater the value it holds for developers.

5. What We Offer Developers
Beyond users, we provide developers with everything else they genuinely need.
First, the tools. ME-SDK supports rapid integration with a complete API covering contract deployment, on-chain interaction, and cross-chain calls. The Testnet provides a zero-risk sandbox environment, so every step from testing to mainnet is taken with confidence. As Meta Earth's infrastructure continues to mature, we will offer an ever-richer set of development tools to help builders freely construct ecosystem applications. We provide the building blocks — what gets built with them depends entirely on the developer's imagination.
Beyond tools, there is revenue. For every DApp or Rollup-chain that developers build independently on Meta Earth, 40% of the transaction fees go directly to the developer. This is not a promise — it is a distribution mechanism written into the protocol. Real users generate real transactions, real transactions generate real revenue, and real revenue flows to the people who create real value.
With revenue comes the need for reach. Our official community and ambassador network spans 100+ countries and regions. Developers do not have to face market promotion alone. Our network will be the first to carry their products to the world.
Finally, there is funding.
