Eventually, Patrick co-founded CEG Investments LLC, a proprietary investment company based in Dubai. His career progression further solidified his capabilities and status in the international financial arena. Despite his primary focus in finance, Patrick Oerer harbours a deep interest in social sciences and humanities. He has conducted extensive research and exploration in these fields over the time and his experiences planted the seeds of his dream to establish "Meta Earth." Over his professional tenor , he experienced several events including financial crises, observing the imbalance of the traditional financial systems and the pitfalls of centralized systems. Witnessing numerous families devastated by financial crises and unexpected bank collapses leaving depositors heavily indebted deepened his skepticism towards traditional financial systems and centralized power.

Having travelled to over 60 countries, he witnessed stark disparities between wealth and poverty in different regions worldwide. This experience led him to a profound realization: finances should be used to enhance human happiness and quality of life. Additionally, he firsthand witnessed how many countries, in pursuit of economic development, irreversibly harmed the Earth's ecological environment. The renowned American psychologist Abraham Maslow, in his paper "A Theory of Human Motivation," categorized human needs into five levels, from basic to higher-order needs: physiological needs, safety needs, social needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs. At this point, Patrick has already achieved financial freedom and significant success in society. Now, he desires to pursue self-actualization. The seeds of his dreams, once planted, have gradually sprouted.

A vision is taking shape: to create a brand-new world where everyone can experience equality, respect, and happiness. A world where individuals have genuine control over their own data and possessions, free from the control of centralized institutions. Moreover, an environment where the ecosystem can sustainably thrive.
